We have put together some useful information about tea for you here. The amount of tea and the steeping time of a tea always depend on the type of tea and personal taste. A small rule of thumb is: one teaspoon per cup, and an additional spoon for a pot. A teaspoon holds about 2 to 3 g of tea, depending on the leaf size. For a proper infusion, you should always use fresh water, but don't let it boil endlessly. If you prepare your tea in a teapot, it would be best to cover the bottom of the pot with tea and then pour it over. This allows the whole aroma to unfold. Some loose teas can even be infused several times, such as green tea, rooibos tea, herbal tea and some fruit teas. With the black tea, please take one teaspoon per cup, pour it on with sparkling water. A brewing time of 2-3 minutes is expected for a cup. For a pot of tea 3 - 5 minutes. For green tea, please take one teaspoon per cup and pour hot water at 70 degrees. Then let it steep for 1-3 minutes. With the herbal tea, rooibos tea and the fruit tea, the brewing time is right and the enjoyment is right! when preparing a cup, you can use 2 teaspoons. Poured with bubbly hot water and steeped for 5 - 7 minutes. Here, too, the tea needs space to develop its aroma properly! So it is best to pour it loosely into the pot or cup until the bottom is covered and let it steep accordingly.
